Red Fish Molly
Ingredients |
Fish - 1/2 kg
Garlic - 2 tbsp
Ginger - 1" piece
Chilly powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Onion - 1 - 2 nos
Green chillies - 4 - 6 nos
Tomato - 2 - 3 nos
Curry leaves - A few
Thick coconut milk
Thin coconut milk
Oil - A little
Salt - As reqd

1)Clean the fish well.
2)Heat the oil in a pan or a kadai.
3)Sauté onion and slit green chillies.
4)When it turns brown, add chilly and turmeric powder and saute for sometime.
5)Add the 2nd extract or thin coconut milk.
6)Put the fish pieces and salt.
7)Allow to cook on low fire.
8)Cut the tomatoes into thick round pieces and spread on top of the fish and curry leaves.
9)Cook for some more time.
10)Pour the 1st extract or thick coconut milk and remove from the flame.
Garnish with fresh curry leaves and sprinkle a few drops of coconut oil.
